Manchester City midfielder, Samir Nasri, has heaped praise on Arsene Wenger as he claimed in a chat with Sky Sports that it was him who made him who he is today.
The Frenchman has received massive applause in the past for grooming players who later became lords in the game of football.
Nasri, currently on loan at Sevilla, admitted that many players including him owe the 67-year-old Arsenal boss a lot.
"It's hard for me to say anything about him because I owe him a lot," said Nasri.
"I came to the Premier League because of him, I had a good career because of him because he gave me confidence and he made me a better player.
"I think all the players that have played under him, when they leave they become better players so I don't think it's him."
Nasri also came to the rescue of his former manager who supporters now want to depart the club at the end of the season. Click here to see who he blamed for Arsenal's poor form.
