A football legend has criticized Arsenal after watching the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 match
The Gunners lost woefully against Bayern Munich on Wednesday night to dent their hopes of progressing to the next stage.
Their displays in that game was so bad that many football lovers labelled the encounter one of 'men against babies'.
Oliver Kahn is the latest to express his disappointment for such a shambolic outing by Arsene Wenger's men saying it is the worst he has ever seen.
“I’ve never seen a team play so bad,” Kahn told ZDF television.
“Bayern played a team so catastrophically bad without the ball,”
“The players were so passive, especially Ozil. It’s as if they don’t take the coach seriously anymore.
“Of course Arsenal have their qualities, especially on the counter-attack, and they have good players like Ozil, but I haven’t seen him. Maybe you saw him?”
“It’s sad to see what Ozil is calling a performance, how passive he plays, a player of his genius and qualities – it’s a shame.”
