Boss Reveals Terrible Blow As Star Is Ruled Out of the Season

It initially came in as an unconfirmed information but we have finally heard it from the horse's mouth and can fully rely on it now.

Arsene Wenger has admitted the loss of one of his star men for the rest of the season. I believe you already know who I am referring to.

It's Santi Cazorla who has been out since October 2016. The Spaniard has suffered a number of setbacks and couldn't make any of the return dates set for him.

The double surgery he has undergone in a while is an indication that he is battling something severe and according to the boss, it doesn't look as if he will feature again this season. Big blow!

“It is very frustrating for us because, at the start of the season, he was maybe the star of the team,” the Arsenal manager said

“Overall it is a big loss for us but I am especially sad for him. For a guy who loves football, when football is so natural, he suffers a lot not to be on the pitch.

“I am not specialised enough [to know if he’s out for the season]. It’s a special problem on his calf.

“At the moment, the only thing I can say because I have not seen him in training, not even in fitness work, is that he’ll be short [to return this season].”
