Injury Boost for Arsenal As Key Duo Return Ahead of Anfield Clash

The Arsenal first team welcomed two previously injured players back to training as they continued preparations for their trip to Anfield on Saturday.

The Gunners are currently enjoying a 12-day break from action. Their match against Southampton last weekend was postponed because the Saints had an EFL Cup final game to play the next day.

They now look forward to their coming league game against Liverpool where they will strive to get a favourable result.

The timely return of Laurent Koscielny and Aaron Ramsey have given Arsenal a big boost as the approach the business end of the season.

Koscielny was taken off early in the second half of Arsenal's first leg round of 16 game against Bayern Munich after suffering a hamstring injury. He departure cost the Gunners as they crumbled to lose 5-1.

Ramsey on the other hand has missed out since January 31, the day he had a calf problem in the game against Watford.

Arsenal sit in fourth spot, thirteen points behind Chelsea who sit comfortably at the top of the league table.
