BREAKING NEWS: Arsenal Sack Arsene Wenger

Arsene Wenger has finally been sacked from Arsenal after his 20-year reign at the North-London club.

The decision to relieve him of his duties was made by Arsenal board members during a behind-closed-door-meeting which was held on Friday afternoon.

The Frenchman put his name in the good record books of the club not so long after joining in 1996 but has since lost out as a result of lack of success.

This season especially, the agitation for his exit became more aggressive and the management have finally responded to calls from fans and football pundits.

What this means is that Wenger's assistant Steve Bould will now take over till the end of the season, starting from Sunday's game against Manchester City.

A new manager will be employed at the end of the season but at the moment, we do not know who that will be .

Wait! Have you checked your calendar for what today's date is? If you haven't, please do.
