Arsenal Discover Carabao Cup Opponent

The draw for the third round of this season's Carabao Cup competition took place this evening and Arsenal have discovered who they will lock horns with.

The Gunners were paired with Brentford, a side they have not played against in a competitive match since 1947.

The tie will come up at the Emirates Stadium in the week commencing September 24 and it will be an opportunity for Nico Yennaris and Josh Dasilva to reunite with their former clubs.

Arsenal under Arsene Wenger ended up being runner-ups in last season's edition where they fumbled to lose 3-0 to Manchester City in the final.
