While a lot of football lovers have commended Arsenal for their enviable form of late, there is one person who is refusing to be carried away.
Arsenal have since bounced back from two defeats suffered against Manchester City and Chelsea by following it up with eleven straight wins in all competitions.
The last two came this week and were the 3-1 and 1-0 wins over Leicester City and Sporting Lisbon in the Premier League and Europa League respectively.
All these feats do not matter to Arsenal legend Paul Merson who is of the view that the Gunners are only winning because they have been playing against weak sides.
The football pundit in a Sky Sports programme confidently asserted that by the time Unai Emery's side meet a better side (like Liverpool next week), they'll be torn to shreds, while also ruling out their chances of winning the league title.
Such talk has not gone well with Arsenal faithfuls that have deemed his comments 'unnecessary' at a time when positive vibes are needed to continue the good form. Watch the video below and also see reactions from fans on Twitter.
