In a recent interview conducted, Mesut Ozil said he doesn't compare coaches and made it clear that both Arsene Wenger and Unai Emery are unique in their own ways.
The former Real Madrid star who recently clocked 30 years of age said: "They are both world-class coaches. We were prosperous with Wenger and I believe we can do the same with Emery".
The German international showed signs of anger when he was substituted against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, and these are signs he is still trying to adapt to life under Emery, but he assured the fans that he just wants to give his best always.
Ozil went on to say that he sees Arsenal making great progress under the Spanish manager as a result of a number of factors which include his desire to always win no matter the situation.
The Gunners look to have improved in positive spirit and mentality since the arriival of Emery and we can see that in the club's record of twelve straight games without a single defeat. They have only lost twice in all competitions so far this term and in all these games, only one draw was recorded - in the last game against Crystal Palace.
Can we make a repeat of The Invincibles or be better than them this season or next? These are questions on our minds, but you can judge our season already. We have lost twice which disqualifies us from equaling the 2003/04 feat.
It may be too early to compare this new era of Unai Emery to the past one under Arsene Wenger but we can definitely enjoy the best of both worlds.
