Arsenal have gotten their fine October form in the Premier League rewarded with Player of the Month and Goal of the Month awards. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Aaron Ramsey were the awardees in both categories respectively.

Aubameyang bagged five goals from three league appearnces in October, two of which were substitute appearances. This made it spectacular, and easy for him to beat the likes of Anthony Martial, Ross Barkley, Fernandinho, Matthew Ryan and Callum Wilson to the accolade.

The Gabon star scored with all five shots he attempted in the month. Two came against Fulham when he came off the bench in that 5-1 bashing at Craven Cottage.

The 29-year-old was on his way to getting a second, having been shortlisted for Goal of the Month, but he was pushed aside by Ramsey who emerged winner with his 68th-minute wonderstrike against Fulham.

The Wales international had barely spent a minute on the pitch following his second half inclusion when he crowned the efforts of players involved in a flashy build-up with a well-converted strike.

The midfielder with an uncertain future at Arsenal beat competition from Aubameyang as well as Riyad Mahrez, Ricardo Pereira, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Andre Schurrle, Roberto Pereyra and Anthony Martial - all nominees in the category.

Congratulations to both players and kudos to them for making Arsenal proud once again. We look forward to more of these and above all, trophies.
