Arsenal loanee David Ospina has in recent days had an August visitation from one of his parent club's coaches.
The Colombian who was sent on loan upon the arrival of Bernd Leno last summer welcomed a goalkeeper coach at the training ground of Napoli.
The decision of the Gunners to send him out was beneficial to his career owing to the fact that he would have struggled to get playtime had he stayed back. Napoli have got the option to sign him permanently if he rakes up to 30 appearances by the end of the season.
Petr Cech has already announced he will retire from playing football at the end of the season meaning Arsenal will need someone to fill the void the departure of the Czech Republic international will create.
It is however unknown if the aim of the visit was to convince him to make a return to the Emirates Stadium at the end of the spell.
According to Sky Italia, the goalkeeping coach commended Ospina for his superb performances since arriving in Italy in the last transfer window.
The 30-year-old has made 17 appearances for the Serie A outfit in all competitions and did not concede in six of them.
We will have to wait and see if Ospina will be able to add up to his existing 70 appearances at Arsenal.
