Arsene Wenger is of the view that the loss of Aaron Ramsey will be greatly felt by Arsenal as a result of the excellent qualities he has got.
The midfielder sealed a pre-contract agreement that will see him cease to become a player at the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season, June 30 to be precise.
He has spent eleven years since arriving from Cardiff in 2008 but that reign will soon come to an end as he is already one leg out of the club.
Arsenal were in talks to give the Wales international a contract extension last year. They later withdrew for reasons unknown to the general public at this time. That attracted interests from a number of European clubs, one of which he chose to be his next point of call.
With all almost set for his departure from North London, Arsene Wenger who he spent the greater part of his Arsenal days under has confessed that he is a great asset whose expertise will no doubt be missed by Arsenal.
Speaking at the Laureus Sport for Good presentation, Wenger said: “It will be a loss for Arsenal. I must say it will be an interesting move for Ramsey.
“He is a player who is great going forward. His main quality is he can keep the final ball and he makes interesting runs from deep.
The new contract at Juventus means Ramsey will begin to earn a bumper wage of £400 000-a-week once the transfer is completed. He has passed the first phase of medicals back in January.
Ramsey has promised to give his all in the remaining time he has to spend at the Emirates even though his exit is all but sealed while also applauding the fans for their unending support for him.
