Hector Bellerin has today given fans something to be hopeful about over his return to fitness after being hit by a lay-off.
The defender was stretchered off following an anterior cruciate ligament injury he susutained in the 70th minute of Arsenal's 2-0 win over Chelsea
The 23-year-old has since undergone successful surgery and will no longer be available for action for the remainder of the season.
Bellerin has begun his rehabilitation programme which is expected to take between six to nine months. In his absence, Stephan Lichtsteiner and Ainsley Maitland-Niles have enjoyed some time at right-back.
The former Barcelona star took to Twitter some minutes ago to let fans know that he is progressing well with his recovery.
