Mesut Ozil's recent activity on social media has shown that just like many other supporters, he is also not happy with the kind of treatment he is receiving.
The ex-German international after being left out of a number of games has once again been dropped from the travelling team that will play BATE Borisov in the Europa League later today.
The club released a full list of the squad and surprisingly, the midfielder did not surface even though an earlier tweet from him indicates that he trained with the rest of his mates prior to the game.
Unai has however justified his decision not to play him in a statement he issued saying that Ozil did not return in time to have adequate training and as such is not qualified to participate in the clash.
We all at this point are beginning to suspect that there is something going on between the player and his manager. It looks more like a personal issue and with Ozil's action on Instagram, it is right to conclude that he is enduring a sour relationship with Emery.
A fan after the discovery that Ozil was left out of the team to play BATE Borisov stormed social media to react - a post which the former Real Madrid man liked.
The comment read: ‘We miss you bro. Keep fighting and stay strong. ‘Show Emery, dumb pundits and the whole world they are wrong.’
Ozil alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang missed out of the 2-1 win over Huddersfield Town on Saturday. The duo fell ill but are now back though only the latter is in the squad for tonight's round of 32 fixture.
