Heartbroken Fans Hit Out at Arsenal Star for What He Said

Granit Xhaka has given a hint of a possible exit from the Emirates Stadium thereby leaving fans stunned.

On arriving from Borussia Monchengladbach in a £35million deal in 2016, the Swiss international struggled to win the heart of a section of fans.

He was fond of losing possession in nasty manners to gift away goals as well as conceding avoidable fouls.

The story has since changed under Unai Emery with Xhaka establishing himself as a very important personality in the squad.

His great shot power has helped Arsenal a lot this season, the most recent coming in the 2-0 win over Manchester United about two weeks ago.

With interests already coming in from top European sides as a result of his top form, the 26-year-old has stated that he is an ambitious one who is looking to move ahead.

"I'm very ambitious, I want to take the next step, Arsenal does not have to be the last stop," he told Tagblatt.

This means that he will leave should the right offer come and this has broken the hearts of some supporters though a number of them claim he will not be missed.

In my opinion, the midfielder said nothing bad. It is normal for one to seek more challenges in life, which was the message Xhaka passed. It is the English press that is blowing his quote out of proportion.
