Danny Welbeck could return to action for Arsenal and play his last game for them in the Europa League final in Baku Azerbaijan on May 29.
The English international has been ruled out since last November when he underwent double surgery after injuring his ankle in one of the competition's group stage ties and has since been sidelined even though he has returned to training ever since.
With his exit imminent due to his contract that expires at the end of the season, Unai Emery could give him the chance to feature in that grand encounter to seal off his stay at the club.
The Manchester United former striker is in line to travel to Baku and that is likely to be done should he be deemed totally fit to make it on the night.
A win over Chelsea in the final will automatically qualify Arsenal for the 2019-20 UEFA Champions League tournament as they could not make it through a top-four finish in the already concluded Premier League.
