If you have followed transfer updates
closely since the end of the season, the interest of Arsenal in signing two players from a single club in the Serie A will no longer be news to you.
We were told earlier that Dennis Praet and Joachim Andersen are on the Gunners' books and that they have made a £45 million bid to Sampdoria for them both.
While they need the former to fill the void left by Aaron Ramsey who will play for Juventus from next season, they are hoping on the latter to minimise frailties in their defence.
It has now been tepiertd by Italian outlet, Gazzette dello Sport, that Sampdoria have turned down Arsenal's offer. All they want is for the North London side to up their offer.
It was further stated that the other party wants £55 million, £25m for Praet and £30m for Andersen.
Negotiations are still ongoing between the two sides but whether Arsenal will accept to pay that amount is the question on ground.
They have a low transfer budget which means they won't be able to splash much on summer signings.
