Arsenal Announce Two Signings in One Day

Dani ceballos Signs on Loan Arsenal

Arsenal have on Thursday confirmed the signing of Dani Ceballos and William Saliba after a very long period of speculations in the media.

The delay in the completion of the much talked about deals got supporters tired and hopeless but yesterday's announcement laid all doubts to rest.

Ceballos joined from Real Madrid, not on a permanent basis. The 22-year-old midfielder will be on loan with the Gunners for the 2019/20 season after which anything can happen.

At the moment, there is no clause to sign the Spaniard permanently as we were told his club were unwilling to include that in the agreement. He has been given the number 8 shirt most recently worn by Aaron Ramsey.

As for Saliba, he signed a long-term contract from Saint-Etienne. However, the 18-year-old will be returning to them on loan for the whole season. He will only be back at the end of the coming campaign.

William Saliba Signs for Arsenal

The arrival of Saliba makes it the second permanent signing (first was Gabriel Martinelli) made by Arsenal in the ongoing transfer window and being that they are both players for the future since they are 18, expectations are still high amomg the club's fans who want prolific recruitment that will have an immediate impact in the squad.

There are other names like Kieran Tierney still being greatly linked with an Emirates Stadium switch in the coming day. Hopefully, we will get to see at least two more as stated by Unai Emery during our tour of the United States of America.
