A Gunner Speaks on Tactical Idiocy, Arsenal Get Fair Europa League Draw

Arsenal were beaten 3-1 by Liverpool last Saturday. The loss was not taken in good fate by majority as a result of the pre-match decision by the coach.

We may want to say that the fielded players have their own fare share of the blame but in my view and as I said after the encounter last weekend, Unai Emery got it all wrong.

Even though some may disagree, I derive joy knowing that I am not alone in this thought.

I have here the opinion of a fellow Gunner, Anosike Chimezie, who has criticized the Spaniard for his lack of defined tactics.  See it below:

My problem with Emery is that he claims to be a good coach yet he doesn't define the way he wants his team to play.

Guardiola, Kloop, Wenger, Ancelloti, Conte, Mourinho, Ferguson etc all have identities and the way they set up their teams, and they get results even under pressure but this man will always switch tactics and still drop his best players that are good for the role on the bench.

Arsenal have been suffering because of lack of creativity in the midfield and Ozil who's best for the role will always be on the bench or not even in the team,

Ozil looks sluggish on the pitch but he covers more distance than many players on the pitch and it takes only one key pass from him to finish teams sometimes but that our id**t coach will drop him and say he is sick or injured.

We have strikers that can deliver now. Our defence is not that bad if only we can stop loosing balls in the midfield like Xhaka always does and Guendozi is not strong and he is still inexperienced. He plays more of back passes than attacking passes but when he does he gives away the ball to the opponent.

Emery is still a learner.

Tomorrow is another day when we will be in action. Emery's decision and selection in the North London derby will go a long way in defining who he really is. Is he the adamant and rigid type? Time will tell. We just have to get a positive outcome from the Tottenham match on Sunday.

The draw for the group stages of the UEFA Europa League was held yesterday Friday. Arsenal got a fair draw. Oh! Could that be why we got Group F? F for fair. Lol.

We will be playing Eintracht Frankfurt, Standard Leige and Vitoria Guimaraes of Germany, Belgium and Portugal respectively.
