Arsenal have signed Pablo Mari from Flamengo, as per a publication made on the club's official website and social media handles.
Mari is a left-footed centre back whose links to the North London club began to spread wide towards the end of the winter transfer window. A video of him in London for his medical also surfaced on Saturday.

The 26-year old was once a Manchester City player even though he made no appearance for the Etihad outfit. In his three years with them, he was at loan at three different clubs before signing permanently for Flamengo last summer.
He was at Girona for the 2016/17 season, NAC in the Netherlands for the next campaign and Deportivo La Coruna in Spain for his final loan season prior to his transfer to Brazil.
He was able to help his side win the Brazilian Serie A and Copa Libertadores in his short stay during which he made 22 appearances.
Just as reported by external sources, Arsenal have affirmed that there is an option to make the loan deal a permanent one by the end of the 2019/20 season. Mari will wear the number 22 jersey.
