Arsenal Extend Europa League Unbeaten Run Against Molde

Mikel Arteta welcomed David Luiz and Granit Xhaka back into the starting lineup as he plunged his side into a third consecutive victory in the season's Europa League contest.

Arsenal came from behind to claim an impressive 4-1 win in Thursday night's encounter where the talking points centred on the two own goals scored by opposition.

We staged a sloppy performance in the first period and if there was any moment worthy of mention aside the equalising goal, that should be the early chance Nicolas Pepe created for Eddie Nketiah even though the shot was diverted away by Andreas Lindes.

There is reward for every action and it did not fail to manifest in our case. We did not look like we were there to play for a positive result. We got punished for that when Ellingsen latched unto Leno's headed clearance before curling one in.

Arsenal pulled one back on the stroke of halftime. Joe Willock had made a run to meet up with a pass from Nketiah and in an attempt to get the ball out of danger zone, Kristoffer Haugen did the abominable to favour us.  He helped to roll it into his own net. thanks

Joe Willock again was instrumental in our next goal which came seventeen minutes from restart. Like for our first, he burst into the box to link up with Xhaka and after his effort, Sheriff Sinyan stretched his leg at it. Into his own net it went for our second goal.

Pepe scored our third before setting up Willock to enable him get a goal to his name. Maybe that should have been the one to complete his hattrick if not that the first two he was involved in were tossed in by opponents.

Three points against Molde sustains our unbeaten run in the competition while also keeping us top of the group.Weon to the league to play Aston Villa on Sunday then embark on another international break.
