In an attempt to make Arsenal a tough contender for the title, Arsene Wenger has sealed a deal for one of his long term targets who he had been unable to get in the past.
According to the Daily Mail, the Gunners have agreed a fee with Dynamo Moscow for the capture of their striker, Aleksandr Kokorin.
However, the €6million deal is one that has got some conditions attached. As a result of Danny Welbeck's injury worry, the club decided to look for an alternative and from what we have been made to believe by France Football, the transfer will be activated if a further setback hits Welbeck.
France Football say Arsenal have agreed a €6m deal with Dynamo Moscow for Aleksandr Kokorin, only activated if striker injury-crisis occurs.

“Striker injury-crisis” essentially refers to if Danny Welbeck has another set-back. France Football explain it as an arrangement “in case”.

Arsenal will be having a busy schedule from this weekend on into January and with the large amount of injuries already recorded, they might find things difficult which is why Wenger is leaving no stone unturned. It is believed the club are hoping to conduct a medical for Kokorin before January.

Let's just hope danny boy remains injured . But by the way who signs such a agreement. Only Wenger can do such.
ReplyDeleteI have watched that guy play on several clips and he seems quite the talent we need for a striker.Although, statistically his goal tally may not say much , I believe with the likes of ozil, Sanchez and the host of other stars in squad,he will surpass the likes of Olivier giroud and welbeck.
