Ray Parlour has opined that Unai Emery's action could get him the sack at Arsenal if proper care is not taken.
In the view of the former Arsenal midfielder, Mesut Ozil could be the catalyst to his untimely departure from a club he took charge off not so long ago.
It is no longer news that the German international has had a nightmare experience since the Spanish manager joined the club. He has been left out of too many games - a development that has been a source of worry to the footballing world in general.
It is still not known why exactly this is so but no matter what, a player of his calibre who is also the highest paid player at Arsenal should not be left doing nothing.
In reaction to the predicament of the former Real Madrid midfielder, Gunners legend Parlour has warned that Emery could be on his way out of the Emirates should the crisis get to a higher point. That was the case when Unai was at Paris Saint Germain and had scores to settle with Neymar.
‘It’s been a little bit like PSG with Neymar. Neymar ended up getting Emery the sack,’ the former Arsenal midfielder said.
‘He lost the dressing room and Neymar was pulling the strings there. Maybe it could be the same at Arsenal.’
Ozil despite his £350 000-a-week pay has made just league 13 appearances out of 26 for Arsenal so far in the current campaigs and as expected, the rumour mill has begun to report his departure by the coming summer.
