When talking of players who made themselves favourites to the fans during their time at Arsenal, Santi Cazorla is one of them.
The Spanish midfielder had an excellent reign in the Premier League, establishing himself as one of the best in his position.
However, his closing period at the Emirates Stadium did not go so well as a result of recurrent fitness problems. It was worse in his final season as he couldn't make a single appearance for the Gunners.
He moved on to Villarreal where he is now an integral part of the team and this has not gone unnoticed by fans of his former club who wish he can make a return 'home'.
At 34, a man that once faced the threat of getting his leg amputated is performing wonders at the club that sold him to Arsenal for £15million back in 2012.
His current contract with the La Liga outfit expires in July and Arsenal supporters have sounded their desire to have him re-signed.

There are very few things better than seeing a fully fit Santi Cazorla pulling the strings in midfield. He’s hypnotising to watch, so much skill and grace. Still wish we had him. #AFC
