Unai Emery Reveals Plans to Turn Arsenal to World Best Club

Unai Emery has made known his plans to make Arsenal the best club in the world but demands maximum patience from fans.

The Spanish boss came in to replace Arsene Wenger last year and in his reign so far, he has had mixed situations.

After losing his first two competitive games to Manchester City and Chelsea, the former Paris Saint-German coach went on to lead his side to a streak of 22 games without a loss which was ended by Southampton in December.

The aftermath saw a string of nasty occurrences especially in matches played away from home. That menace has continued till this moment thereby raising fears over the possibility of qualifying for the Champions League.

Consecutive defeats to Crystal Palace and Wolves in a space of three days made matters worse and knowing fully well that the fans are greatly upset, he has implored them to keep calm as he aims to make Arsenal the best in the world.

“We want to get with this club to point where we the best club in England and the world,” he said. “But it is a long process. Sometimes, like today, we need to talk about patience.

“We want to play in the Champions League but also we know our process needs to be with patience because there are another five very strong teams with very good players and very big performances.

“The Premier League is the most difficult championship in all the world. There is not another country with this difficulty to take the top four places and play in the Champions League. Maybe now in Spain, they have something similar – Valencia are struggling for the top four also. But here the biggest teams in the world play in one championship.”

Leicester City will host the Gunners at the King Power Stadium in what is expected to be a tense encounter on Sunday afternoon.

The North Londoners would be looking forward to a win while praying Chelsea and manchester United share points.
