Arsenal Complete Loan Signing

It's a week to the commencement of the new season and it is good to see Mikel Arteta's side doing a couple of transfer business to put the team in good shape ahead of the challenge.

Arenal have again sought for the services of Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid to keep him at their end till at least the end of the 2020/21 campaign.

The midfielder spent the whole of the previous season with the Gunners, making exploits to gain the love of a greater percentage of the fans.

The old deal was first adjusted to ensure that he stayed till the last season was over. The contract initially meant that he will return to his owners by June but since the coronavirus pandemic delayed the season in a way, Arsenal had to make him stay till August.

Now, just as was reported by some reputable sources, he will be a Gunner for another season, something he admitted he looked forward to during an interview he had in July.

Arsenal's head coach had the following to say about the return of the Spanish international and fellow countryman.

"Dani was an integral part of our team last season and finished the season in excellent form," said Arteta.

"I love Dani's passion and commitment and he's a highly skilful player. We're all delighted to welcome him back and we look forward to seeing him pick up where he left off."

"We're thrilled to have Dani back with us for the new season", club's technical director Edu added,.

"We all know his qualities after an impressive 2019/2020 campaign, which ended with him playing a key role in our FA Cup success.

"We're excited to add Dani to the list of quality players we are bringing in."

Ceballos' desire for more playing time which he was not getting at Real Madrid fuelled the need for him to make a switch to the Premier League.

News of a possible permanent deal at the end of this one is believed to be on the books but there is no formal confirmation on that yet.

The 24-year old scored two goals in 37 appearances in his first spell in North London. We hope for a better stat this time around.
