Arsenal Target Confirms He Will Sign In Few Days Time.

Morgan Schneiderlin! That name rings a bell, right? Okay, in case you have not heard about him, he is a Southampton midfielder who Arsenal will be hoping to complete his transfer by next week.

The Gunners' interest in the Frenchman began in 2014 when a bid was rejected by the Saints who at that time did not want him to leave. He remained with the side and as the 2014/15 season was about packing up, he revealed his ambition of playing at a higher level. He wanted to also play in the Champions League as he was tired of watching his mates on TV.

Since Southampton are not going to play in the UCL next season and Arsene Wenger is aware of that, he has been trying his best to secure a transfer for his compatriot.

It is now so clear that Morgan Schneiderlin wants to leave. He has already made that known and confirmed that he will become an ex-Southampton player by next week.

"Talks are ongoing and should be completed in the coming days.", Schneiderlin told the French media.

"I hope that it will occur before pre-season begins next week.”

The 25-year-old Frenchman has a £24.2million buyout clause slapped on his head by Southampton, with Manchester United and Chelsea also keen on acquiring his services. However, Arsenal are favourites to sign him, according to reports.
