Arsenal Star Hit With Massive Injury Once Again.

There we go again! The new season has not even begun and our players have started having one injury worry or the other.

It is Danny Welbeck who has suffered a setback in his recovery process. The Arsenal striker was expected to be fit in few days after sustaining a knee injury last season but up till now, he is still struggling with it. He has been out for several months already.

As a result of the latest development, the English international was not included in the squad that will travel to Singapore for the Barclays Asia Trophy. He will also not begin the new campaign with the rest of his teammates.

Welbeck missed the FA Cup final through this injury and could not represent England in any of their friendly games and qualifier matches which held during the summer holidays.

Elsewhere, Tomas Rosicky has also added his name to the Arsenal injury list. He got injured while on international duty with Czech Republic. The injury is a minor one, according to reports. He will stay back in London while some others will be heading to Asia.

Alexis Sanchez will miss the tour too, not because of any injury but because he is on break. The former Barcelona man had been on duty for Chile since the end of the 2014/15 season, winning the Copa America in the process. In order to shake off fatigue, he has been asked to stay back and have adequate rest. The Arsenal Player of the Season will not be involved at the opening stages of the Premier League.
