Petr Cech Launches Attack on Ungrateful Chelsea Fans. See What he Said.

The front page of The Sun's publication for Thursday has topics on Arsenal's latest signing, Petr Cech. The first is about the former Rennes goalkeeper's intention to continue playing at least till the age of 40 while the next is about his reaction to trolls directed at him by Chelsea fans.

The 33-year-old left Stamford Bridge after a successful 11-year reign, and considering the qualities he still has in him, we do not need a soothsayer to tell us that he has the potentials of playing for many more years. The Czech international also knows this and wants to work towards achieving that goal.

Cech made his switch from Chelsea to Arsenal on Monday to the delight of many Gooners. As expected, some Chelsea fans took to Twitter to throw insults at the three-time Golden Glove Winner for leaving them. They believe he is a snake and traitor for joining their bitter rivals for £11million.

He has responded to the rude fans of his former club while also appreciating those ones who sent him goodwill messages after his transfer.

“The true fans have sent me messages that are pleasing and positive. True fans will appreciate what I’ve done and the legacy I’ve left,” he said.

“There are some people who have left me negative messages, but they aren’t true Chelsea fans.”

Great professionalism from Petr Cech. What an ideal way to respond to such memes from ungrateful ones. He has played safe by not using abusive words on them. Legend!
