Arsene Wenger Drops Team News Ahead of Sheffield United Game

Arsenal will play Sheffield Wednesday in the fourth round of the Capital One Cup later tonight and ahead of the clash, the manager, Arsene Wenger has given a brief update as to how his players are faring.fitness-wise.

According to the Frenchman, no fresh injuries were recorded from the Everton game and no one will be returning except for Per Mertesacker who was previously ill. The likes of Mikel Arteta, Tomas Rosicky, Jack Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey and Danny Welbeck are still out.

He also gave a hint on who he will be starting in goal. Even though there were reports that he will be introducing a number of youngsters for today's game, Petr Cech will still maintain his place as David Ospina is still sidelined.

'Ospina is still out too, so Cech will certainly play," the 66-year-old said while addressing pressmen at his pre-match press conference.

The Gunners will hope to continue their fine form after successive victories over Manchester United, Watford, Bayern Munich and most recently, Everton.
