Arsene Wenger Set for Management Return Next Month

arsene wenger return football management

Arsene Wenger is warming up to return to football management next month with offers from four different clubs reportedly on the table for him.

The 69-year-old left Arsenal to be replaced by Unai Emery at the end of last season after a 22-year spell at the club but refused to go straight into another saying he needed a break.

Recently, the Frenchman was said to have told his friends how much he misses interacting with players and is therefore making moves for a return to the scene.

Getting a new job will not be a problem for the veteran. Instead, it will be a case of him having to pick from a number of available options with a particular national team and three top European clubs said to have contacted him for varying positions.

Wenger has however assured that no matter what, he will not be heading back to work with a Premier League club to avoid disrespecting his former side, Arsenal.

With a Champions League honour a priority for Paris Saint Germain, it is understood that its owners want Wenger employed as their sporting director. They see him as the ideal one who will bring their dreams to reality.

The Times revealed that there are also advances from an undisclosed national side but it is unlikely to be his homeland France since they have recorded massive success under current manager Didier Deschamps.

Joachim Leow of Germany and Fernando Santos of Portugal despite their past exploits crashed out in the early stages of the 2018 World Cup in Russia and should the need arise to axe any of them, Wenger could just be the perfect man for the slot.

Spain, Italy and The Netherlands have got new managers they employed not more than a year ago meaning chances that they will require the services of the Frenchman are little.

Crisis at Real Madrid has raised rumours of a possible manager switch at the end of the season and we have earlier been told of the Spanish giant's interest in recruiting Wenger.

Monaco, AC Milan and Bayern Munich are other possible destinations for the former Arsenal manager.
