GOOD NEWS: Arsenal Secure Signing of Two World Class Stars.

This is what we have all waited for so long to hear and finally, the deed had been done. Good way to end the month of July, isn't it? Okay let's see what's up.

The contract situation of Theo Walcott had dragged for a while, causing some fans to panic about the future of the forward. It was like he was going to leave us soon but 'no', he is staying as he himself earlier promised.

Our longest serving player, Theo Walcott has agreed a new deal at Arsenal. It is a four-year contract which will see the 26-year-old Englsih international earn £140 000-a-week.

With a total of 76 goals in over 300 appearances, Walcott has made himself a fans' favourite and he definitely will be a catalyst to Arsenal's title push in the 2015/16 season.

He gave reasons for the club to hold on to him by scoring a hat-trick against Westbromwich Albion in our last Premier League game of last season before going on to add to that tally in the FA Cup final against Aston Villa.

That'a not all! We have someone else who has also committed himself to the club by putting pen to paper. It is Santi Cazorla. The Spanish international who is now 30 years old has extended his stay for two more years.

"Both are top-quality players who are hugely important and influential to our squad," said manager Arsene Wenger.

"As well as their huge contributions on the pitch, they both have a great deal of experience and are very popular off the pitch."

So all rumours linking these two to some other European clubs have been laid to rest. We can now concentrate on the new season. Let's start up by beating Chelsea at the Community Shield this Sunday. Come on You Gunners!
