With Hector Bellerin out injured and Carl Jenkinson not up to standard, the Frenchman has deemed it necessary to go after a reliable player.
Peireira is a talented star who is versatile. He can play at right back, left back and also at the right wing in midfield, so his acquisition will be an advantage for the Gunners.
He has had an impressive season so far, scoring once and assisting on three occasions in fifteen league appearances.
