Mesut Ozil Talks About Transfer to the Bundesliga and Arsenal Career

Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has spoken about life at Arsenal and his future in the game of football. The Assist King stated that he is in the best form of his career while also establishing the fact that he has no plans of leaving in the near future.

The former Real Madrid man has been in top form so far this season. His two assists against Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium took his tally in the league to fifteen, the highest in the Premier League and all top leagues all over Europe.

With this feat and so many landmarks he has hit since joining the Gunners from the Santiago Bernabeu in 2013, the 2014 World Cup winner believes this is his best campaign ever since he started playing football.

“I’d like to say so far, this is my strongest season for Arsenal, but no. This is the strongest season so far in my career.”

On whether he has plans to make a return to the German Bundesliga, the 27-year-old attacking midfielder said:

“I can never say I will return. I have beautiful memories of home, but I’m with Arsenal until at least 2018.

“Wenger has always backed me strongly. He’s always there for me.”

Last season, Cesc Fabregas had 18 assists in 38 games which was the highest in the league. Mesut Ozil already has 15 in 17 games. Magnificient, isn't it? Ozil has about 21 more league games to increase his number of assists.
